Kaci Chlada, DVM

Dr. Chlada joined our hospital in June 2024.  She completed her B.S. degree in Animal Science at Virginia Tech, and then went on to earn her D.V.M. degree from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Chlada went into veterinary medicine because she gets to combine her love of science with her love of animals, and wants to facilitate stronger human-animal bonds. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery, emergency and critical care, and ultrasonography. She enjoys working with companion exotic animals in addition to dogs and cats. Outside of work, Dr. Chlada enjoys spending time outdoors walking or riding her bike, working out, reading, and taking care of her house plants.
