Lambs Gap Animal Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist!
Position Details
- Role: Veterinary Receptionist
- Status: Full-time
- Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
- Schedule: Mornings/Afternoons & possibly one Saturday a month. Schedule will likely be Mondays 12 pm-4 pm, Tuesdays 7 am-3 pm, Wednesdays 7 am-2 pm, Thursdays 7 am-3 pm, Fridays 8 am-4 pm, every 4th Saturday 8 am-12 pm.

Lambs Gap Animal Hospital is looking for a positive, outgoing individual to join our team as a receptionist/customer service specialist. We are a well-established, four-doctor general practice that has been providing care for companion animals and pocket pets in Mechanicsburg, PA, for over 30 years. We offer many services to provide our patients with comprehensive, quality care. Our Veterinary Receptionists are the face of our practice and play an important part in supporting our clients and patients by providing excellent customer service. This position is full-time.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Answering telephones
- Greeting clients
- Explaining payment options and processing financial transactions
- Preparation and maintenance of medical records
- Client communication/education in animal care
- Cleaning up after pets
- Scheduling appointments
We’re looking for someone:
- Who is outgoing and personable
- Who has excellent customer service and communication skills (including written and oral)
- Who can multitask calmly and work as part of a team
- Who is detail-oriented
- Who is dependable
- Who has a high work ethic and positive attitude
*Prior customer service experience is required; prior veterinary experience is a plus!
